Nearly six decades ago, an enterprising Bruce Meyers conjured a custom vehicle that transformed VW components into go-anywhere dune buggies. The creation was dubbed Meyers Manx, and the modular, customizable rig made waves in 1967 by busting speed records in Baja California and winning the inaugural Mexican 1000 (later known as the Baja 1000).
