Documentary filmmaker Lucy Walker has made a critically-acclaimed film that focuses in on these two fires as she drills deep into the politics, economics, and ecology of wildfire. Walker chronicles the two fires while interrogating narratives surrounding the increase in wildfire in California and around the world.
