Facing lawsuit, East Bay city begins switch to district City Council elections

Under threat of a lawsuit, Pleasanton is making a switch from at-large City Council elections to district ones. Tuesday’s council meeting, beginning at 7 p.m., is the first opportunity for residents to share their thoughts on how to best carve the city into districts.
